Before first use, then annually
Inspection is required before a vehicle is first used as a TNC vehicle and annually thereafter.
A practical checklist to take to a qualified mechanic while LulaRoost prepares for regulatory approval and operational testing.
LulaRoost is not operating. The company will not operate before receiving its Alabama Public Service Commission TNC permit and required approvals. Paid ride booking is not available online.
Use Form LR-VSI-1 for each inspection. The official form is available below.
Inspection is required before a vehicle is first used as a TNC vehicle and annually thereafter.
The inspector must be an American Advanced Technicians Institute (AATI)-certified mechanic, a National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)-certified mechanic, or a mechanic supervised by an AATI/ASE-certified mechanic.
Model year 2016 or newer, and never more than 15 years old.
The TNC keeps inspection documentation, including who performed or supervised the inspection, for 2 years from the inspection date. This does not mean LulaRoost currently holds inspection files.
This page is for information. Drivers must use the official Form LR-VSI-1, completed by an ASE- or AATI-certified mechanic.
The official Form LR-VSI-1 is the required inspection form. The browser checklist below mirrors its fields and item order.

Same fields, inspection types, inspection items, and revision shown on Form LR-VSI-1. Entries stay in this browser and are not submitted or stored.
The online checklist is a browser worksheet only. Drivers must use the official Form LR-VSI-1 completed by an ASE- or AATI-certified mechanic. The online worksheet does not submit or save information, and completing it does not open driver onboarding.
Dothan is LulaRoost’s planned initial market. Montgomery and Birmingham are planned future markets, with no launch dates announced. Operations remain contingent on the required permit and approvals.
