LulaRoost Referral and Promotion Terms

These terms cover LulaRoost promo codes, ride credits, rider referrals and driver referrals. They're part of the LulaRoost Terms of Service and the Driver Agreement, and they're posted at lularoost.com/promo-terms.

1. How these terms work with each offer

Each offer shows its own details in the app, such as the amount, who qualifies, what you need to do and when it ends. Those details are part of these terms. If an offer's details differ from these terms, the offer's details apply to that offer.

2. Who can take part

  • LulaRoost account holders aged 18 or older whose accounts are in good standing.

  • Teen accounts and Business and Health accounts can't use promo codes or earn referral rewards.

  • LulaRoost staff can't earn referral rewards.

3. Promo codes and ride credits

  1. What they apply to. A promo code or credit applies to a ride's charges, but not to tips or damage fees.

  2. One at a time. Only one promo code applies to a ride, and promotions can't be combined unless the offer says so.

  3. Unused amounts. If a ride costs less than a per-ride discount, the rest of that discount is lost. Ride credits stay on your account until they expire.

  4. Expiration. Every code and credit ends on the date shown in the app.

  5. No cash value. Codes and credits can't be exchanged for cash, sold or transferred, and they end if your account closes.

  6. Your driver's pay. Promotions never reduce a driver's pay. LulaRoost pays the discount, as Schedule A of the Driver Agreement explains.

4. Rider referrals

  1. Share your code. Each rider has a referral code in the app.

  2. The new rider's offer. A new rider who signs up with your code gets the new-rider offer shown in the app when they complete their first ride.

  3. Your reward. You get the referral credit shown in the app after the new rider completes their first ride within 30 days of signing up.

  4. Who counts as new. Someone who has never had a LulaRoost account, and whose phone number, payment card and device have never been used on LulaRoost.

  5. Limit. You can earn up to 20 rider referral rewards each calendar year.

5. Driver referrals

  1. Share your code. Each active driver has a driver referral code in the app.

  2. Who qualifies. The new driver must never have driven with LulaRoost, must enter your code when they apply, must be approved under the Driver Agreement, and must complete the number of rides in the time shown in the offer.

  3. Your bonus. Once they do, you get the referral bonus shown in the offer, paid with your regular pay. The new driver also gets any new-driver bonus the offer shows.

  4. Taxes. Referral bonuses are income. LulaRoost reports them as tax law requires.

6. Fair play

These aren't allowed:

  • referring yourself, or using more than one account

  • creating fake accounts or fake rides

  • posting codes on coupon or deal websites, or in paid ads

  • sending texts, calls or emails to people who didn't ask for them

  • making false or misleading claims about LulaRoost

LulaRoost may hold back, reverse or cancel a reward, code or credit that breaks these rules or was earned in error, and may pause or close the accounts involved.

7. Changes and ending offers

LulaRoost may change or end any promotion or referral program at any time. Rewards you've already earned are honored, unless they were earned in error or by breaking these terms.
