LulaRoost Teen Account Terms

A LulaRoost teen account lets a parent or legal guardian set up rides for a teen aged 13 to 17 to ride without an adult. These terms apply once LulaRoost offers teen accounts in the app, and they're posted at lularoost.com/teen-terms. They're part of the LulaRoost Terms of Service.

1. Who agrees to these terms

  • The parent. The parent or legal guardian who sets up the teen account agrees to these terms, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, for themselves and for the teen. They confirm they're the teen's parent or legal guardian and have a LulaRoost account of their own.

  • The teen. The teen agrees to follow these terms and the Community Guidelines on every ride.

  • Responsibility. The parent is responsible for the teen's use of LulaRoost, and for every charge on the teen account.

2. Setting up a teen account

  1. The parent invites the teen from the parent's account and enters the teen's name, date of birth and mobile number.

  2. The teen accepts the invitation in the LulaRoost app on their own phone.

  3. The app gives the teen a 4-digit ride PIN, which the parent can see and change.

3. Safety features on every teen ride

  • Experienced drivers only. Teen rides go only to drivers who choose to take them, have completed LulaRoost's teen-ride training, have given at least 100 LulaRoost rides with a rating of 4.8 or higher, and have no confirmed safety violations.

  • PIN check. The teen gives the driver their ride PIN before the ride starts. The driver can't start the ride without it.

  • Live tracking for the parent. The parent gets a notice when the teen requests a ride, when the driver arrives, at pickup and at drop-off, and can follow the ride live in the app.

  • Contact during the ride. The parent can reach the driver and LulaRoost support through the app during the ride.

  • Safety button. The teen's app has the safety button that calls 911 and shows the ride's location and details.

4. Ride rules

  1. Ride type. Teen accounts book LulaRoost Standard rides that start and end inside the LulaRoost service area. Airport, Scheduled and Health rides aren't available on teen accounts.

  2. Hours. Teen rides are available from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Central time.

  3. Who rides. The teen rides alone, or with brothers or sisters who also have teen accounts under the same parent. No other passengers may ride.

  4. In the car. The teen rides in the back seat and wears a seatbelt.

  5. No changes during the ride. The destination can't be changed and stops can't be added once a teen ride starts. The teen can end the ride early in the app, and the parent is told right away.

  6. The driver may cancel without penalty if the rider isn't the teen on the account, can't give the PIN, brings other passengers, or doesn't follow the Community Guidelines.

  7. Booking for others. Teens can book rides only for themselves.

5. Payment

  • Every teen ride is charged to the parent's payment method, at the published rates at lularoost.com/ride-terms.

  • The parent pays all charges on the teen account, including cancellation, no-show, wait-time and damage fees.

  • The parent decides in the app whether the teen can add tips.

6. Parent controls

The parent can:

  • see the teen's ride history and receipts

  • turn teen rides off and on at any time

  • pause or close the teen account at any time

If the teen reports a safety issue, or LulaRoost receives a report about a teen ride, LulaRoost tells the parent within 24 hours.

7. The teen's privacy

  • What we collect: the teen's name, date of birth and mobile number, their ride PIN, and their trip and location records. We don't ask teens for a profile photo.

  • No marketing. LulaRoost doesn't send promotional texts or emails to teens, and doesn't use teens' information for advertising.

  • The parent's access. The parent can see everything in the teen's ride history.

  • Keeping records. Trip records are kept for 2 years, as Alabama rules require. Everything else is handled as the Privacy Policy at lularoost.com/privacy describes.

8. When a teen turns 18

The teen account ends on the teen's 18th birthday. LulaRoost gives the parent and the teen 30 days' notice, and the teen can then open their own LulaRoost account.

9. Pausing or ending a teen account

LulaRoost may pause or end a teen account for a safety concern, for breaking these terms or the Community Guidelines, or for an unpaid balance on the parent's account. Unless safety requires immediate action, LulaRoost tells the parent why first. The parent can appeal at safety@lulalous.com within 30 days.

10. Contact

Email support@lulalous.com, or safety@lulalous.com for a safety concern. In an emergency, call 911.

These terms are effective October 13, 2026.
